YOTELPAD London Stratford will offer a home away from home for travellers in the heart of Stratford, featuring 62 keys. The rooms and PADs range from Queen rooms to Premium Studio PADs, which offer apartment-style living with a kitchen comprising induction hob, dishwasher, fridge and full cookware. Each room and PAD has YOTEL’s signature SmartBed™, which maximises space by reclining from a couch to a fully flat bed, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle and luxurious rain showers.
YOTEL created YOTELPAD in 2018 to challenge the traditional aparthotel space. The brand was born in answer to rising guest demand for more flexibility in accommodation type, due to changes in consumer lifestyles and work habits. Staying true to YOTEL’s DNA, YOTELPAD prioritises smart design and technology, delivering modern studios, referred to as PADs, featuring multi-functional live/work/sleep areas, stylish bathrooms featuring amenities from YOTEL partner Urban Jungle and fully-equipped kitchenettes – all at an affordable price point.
Additional facilities at YOTELPAD London Stratford include 24-hour Mission Control (YOTEL’s answer to traditional reception), Grab & Go (offering 24/7 drinks and snacks to purchase), laundry facilities and ample storage space. The answer to the future of flexible travel, YOTELPAD will be bookable from one-night to monthly stays and will range in size and layouts to offer maximum flexibility.
The new building’s Excellent BREEAM rating certifies that it has been developed to optimise environmental performance, guest comfort and resource efficiency. Sustainable initiatives include occupancy sensors in the rooms and corridors to control lighting, air source heat pumps for hot water, MVHR ventilation system and heat recovery, and solar panels. The building incorporates green roofs to absorb rainfall, reducing runoff, along with bird and bat boxes to support biodiversity efforts in the area.
The property joins YOTEL’s expanding portfolio of YOTELPADs, with all operating properties currently based in the United States, including YOTELPAD Park City and YOTELPAD Miami. With global growth a top priority for YOTEL, the expansion of YOTELPAD into new and existing territories is expected to form a crucial part of the brand’s commitment to 50 hotels by 2025.
