Alethea Warrington is senior campaigner at climate charity Possible, which works on positive, practical action on climate change. Ali leads Possible's work on energy and heat decarbonisation and cutting emissions from aviation. This aviation work focuses on the role of equitable demand management, including running the campaign for a frequent flyer levy and work opposing greenwashing by the aviation industry. She also leads Possible's legal challenge against the Department for Transport's Jet Zero Strategy. Recent publications include Jetting Away with It, a report investigating the under taxing of private jets compared to their emissions; and a report with Chatham House quantifying the limits to demand reduction from technological solutions.
